Complete all the items below to receive a security deposit refund:
BEFORE MOVE-OUT:
- Give written notice by sending a text or email to the rental office (30 days for monthly lease, 7 days for weekly lease)
- Pay all outstanding rent and fees
- Complete a change of address with USPS. Text or email proof to the rental office
- Remove ALL personal belongings and trash
- Clean your room thoroughly (see “cleaning requirements” below)
- Make sure all provided furniture/bedding is left in the room
- Adhere to all items listed on the “Security Deposit Acknowledgement” from your lease
ON MOVE-OUT DAY:
- Complete inspection and select what address your deposit will be mailed to: https://renteroffice.com/inspection/
- Leave keys in the room
- Text 267-702-6773 to confirm you have moved-out and left your keys at the property
CLEANING REQUIREMENTS:
Your Room:
- Wipe down all surfaces (dresser, nightstand, windowsill)
- Vacuum/sweep floors thoroughly
- Clean inside and outside of any assigned mini-fridge
- Dust TV and electronics
- Clean light fixtures
- Spot clean walls if needed
- Remove all personal items from closet/storage
Assigned Kitchen Spaces:
- Clean assigned cabinets (inside and out)
- Clean assigned refrigerator/freezer sections
- Remove all food items and personal kitchen supplies
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Deposit are refunded within 30 days to forwarding address
- All refunds will be sent by check, no exceptions
- There is a check replacement fee of $30 for any lost or uncashed checks that require replacement
- Deductions made for: cleaning, repairs, trash removal, unpaid fees, missing requirements
